ReplyDeleteYears ago I designed a residence for a US official in Kyoto Japan. It was designed around the module of an ancient tatami mat. As a result, the office I was working with in DC received a nice letter from the Japanese Architect that supervised the construction stating how surprised that as American was so attuned with the Japanese residential construction and design. I still have a bunch of research books from that endeavor.
ReplyDeleteI was able to see the letter as the boss kept it, as if he had anything to do with it.
Beautiful bridge with lots of cultural elements in it!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful artistic bridge with a peace and harmony background, I would love to be there someday.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot. It looks so peaceful. Really nice.
