congrats on being photohunt site for this week -- wonderful shot of the Italian steps -- I always take more photos of doors and stairs and things like that rather than people when I'm away from home!
i agree, and even sans the promise of gelatto, to be able to visit such a beautiful country like Italy- tiring stairs and all- is worth all the possible aches and pains hehe
congratulations for being the TN Chick's pick for the week!
I love this shot but your comment really made me smile. I hope with all the calories that your burned walking up there that you ordered yourself a large.
Silly me, I thought walking up the rise from my house to the main street on my everyday, morning walk, would prepare me for hiking in Italy. But I did make it, ate a lot, and gained nothing. It was all worth it!
What a gorgeous shot! Good choice for the theme this week
ReplyDeleteAn eXcellent shot of a beautiful spot. Feeling a bit envious...

ReplyDeleteI love little passageways like that ... you never know where you're going to end up, they lead to interesting meanderings through beautiful towns.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! I bet climbing all of those steps was exhausting, but then again, you were in Italy so it wasn't all bad. :) Happy hunting!
ReplyDeleteGirasoli,
ReplyDeleteThe steps were in the little town of Spoleto, and a wonderful little town it was!
I love the perspective of this shot. It definitely shows how high you are willing to go for your sweets!
ReplyDeleteI love this shot but your comment really made me smile. I hope with all the calories that your burned walking up there that you ordered yourself a large.
